LBDS has a new permitting system. We are currently working to improve the functionality of our website to allow for easy online retrieval of project status information.
If you were issued a six to eight digit project number via the old permit system (i.e., 123456), your project is searchable on our website.
If you were issued one of the new nine-digit project numbers (i.e., BNEW12345), your project is not currently searchable on our website. It is our goal to upgrade this function on our website for your convenience.
If you would like to find out the status of your project using the new nine-digit project number, please call us at (562) 570-LBDS and we will gladly assist you. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience, and thank you for your patience while we make these upgrades.
Checking the status of your project requires you to have the 8 digit project number assigned to you by the city. Status changes are made during the day so be sure to check back with us.
